About Naturally Tracy

I’m Tracy

On this blog, I will be giving detailed natural hair tips and natural hair product reviews. I have mostly type 4C hair with a mixture of 4B. My hair is also high porosity. I have been natural for four months but have been transitioning for one year. I have grown my hair at its maximal rate with my growth oil. I’ve incorporated my passion for science while learning all I can about my natural hair. This has helped me when creating my hair growth oil that not only helps my hair thicken to its optimal thickness but also helped with growth retention. I wish to take you on my journey to bra strap length. Let’s grow with each other!

For years I have battled with finding what works with my skin. After many years of trying different products, I have finally created the best skincare regimen. On this blog, I will be sharing both what I use for my daily skincare routine and what I use when I want to go out on the town with my boyfriend. So, let us get be happy with our skin with and without makeup!

So other than my love of hair and skin, I love art and home decor. I have helped friends decorate their apartments throughout the years. I love finding creative ways of bringing any space alive. I’ve been passionate about art since I was little. My artwork has been seen in museums throughout my middle school and high school years. I will be showing you how to create simple pieces for your home. If you’re too busy, I will be selling my artwork through my Etsy store. Let us bring a little creativity to our busy lives together!

My whole life I was involved in dance. Once in college, I fell in love with weightlifting and eating healthy. On this blog, I will be sharing effective workouts and food recipes that are for those women on the go!

Giving back and paying it forward

Finally, I wanted to bring one more thing that I am passionate about when creating this blog. This would be medicine. I did the non-traditional route for medical school. I graduated two times from the University of Florida. I also teach students how to have a successful journey throughout their pre-medical journey and how to have a better understanding of the medical field. If you’re a senior in high school preparing to go to college you’ll love this part of the blog. I will be sharing how to get a research position, how to shadow a doctor, where to volunteer, and more. I want to help you have an easier pre-medical journey than I did. I have helped many students and I want to help you. I truly believe in giving back and paying it forward!

Short Life Story

After losing my mother from cancer at the age of 18, I felt as though I was lost. This didn’t help with the fact that I was attending the University of Florida within a few months after this tragic event. I survived college by incorporating self-care mechanisms. I’m a firm believer in having a balanced life. This is the driving force on this blog.
